
These Apple Turnovers made with The Gilded Teafling Caramel Chai are bound to be a fan favorite at any gathering.
Ingredients:

Two apples

8 Oz Brown sugar

1 Tbs Gilded Teafling Chai

2 oz Syrup
-
4 oz Confectioners Sugar/Powdered Sugar

1 Tsp Cinnamon

Optional: Cloves, Walnuts

Instructions:

Dice the Apples

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Throw the apples and brown sugar into a pot on low heat, slowly stir in syrup, and begin preparing your The Gilded Teafling Chai

Stir the apples/brown sugar/syrup mix occasionally; meanwhile, cut the dough into 3x3-inch squares; they shouldn't be more than ~1/6 inch thick. Add a bit of the chai to the apple/brown sugar/syrup mixture.

Ladle 1 tablespoon into each square, favoring 1/2.

Fold the other half over it to create a triangle. Use a fork to crease the dough. Repeat.

In another bowl, stir confectioners' sugar with The Gilded Teafling chai and the syrup/remaining cinnamon filling to create a glaze.

Glaze the turnovers, pop them in the oven for 20 minutes, let them cool, and enjoy a tasty treat!
