Quick-Thought isn’t just a tea—it’s a labor of love and the result of countless hours of testing, tasting, and collaborating with the voice of Athena, Teagan Earley. When brainstorming with Teagan, she expressed that she wanted to evoke the feeling of sitting in an old library, opening a dusty book, and cozying next to the hearth while soaking in the knowledge and calmness of this study. With this direction in mind, our resident tea witches crafted the perfect brew to invoke this setting:
We included Assam black tea for its bold strength and to provide a flavorful foundation. Iron Goddess of Mercy Oolong is added to bring a gorgeous complexity to the brew, and is a clever nod to Athena’s growth throughout this story as a merciful and empathetic deity. Cozy fall spices and delicious marshmallow flavor were added to give that “snuggle up next to the fire” feeling.
Blue cornflower and luster dust were also added to simulate Athena’s Quick-Thought dimension, a training ground for EPIC’s greatest heroes, Odysseus and Telemachus. These enchanting additions shimmer and flicker like stars in the cosmos as the magical shimmer transforms your cup into a mirror of the Quick-Thought dimension.
Each note was chosen and blended with intention to create a companion for those moments when an adventurer needs clarity or a guiding hand. With every sip, let it sharpen your mind, steady your hand, and guide you to the wisdom that lies within.
